Job Description
ICF is a 50yearold Nasdaq listed professional services firm with headquarters in Reston Virginia USA. ICF has been present in India for 20 years and steadily growing its portfolio of services in India and South Asia. ICF India office delivers advisory services to clients in private sector (project developers investors PE funds) government agencies and international DFIs (World Bank IFC ADB FCDO USAID GIZ FCDO and others) in the field of energy climate transport aviation and urban development. To expand our offerings in the M&A advisory business (buy side due diligence) ICF is looking to hire an Associate Director/ Director with experience of M&A advisory in the infrastructure sectors.
About the role
As an AD/ Director you will require strong leadership skills and business development acumen underpinned by a track record in workwinning to date. Youll also have excellent knowledge of deals in the energy and infrastructure sector; and initiatives and priorities of investors gained through a mix of business development and project delivery experience. Familiarity with the investment process of PE funds VCs pension funds lenders strategic investors is essential for this role along with knowledge technical disciplines in the infrastructure sectors including energy transport & logistics digital infrastructure urban infrastructure. You will:
- Lead a business development strategy to grow ICFs business in M&A advisory (buy side) in infrastructure sectors.
- Work collaboratively with ICF practice leaders in the energy and infrastructure sectors to win and deliver M&A advisory (buy side) projects in the infrastructure sectors.
- Lead a small high impact team of analysts consultants and managers to build an M&A practice.
Required experience:
- 1015 years of posteducation work experience of M&A advisory in infrastructure sectors.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Energy sector M&A advisory is required.
- Strong relationships with senior executives in infrastructure sector focused PE funds pension funds investors lenders and strategic investors.
- Demonstrated track record of business development and winning investment due diligence projects from international and Indian investors in infrastructure sector (energy focus).
- Demonstrated track record of leading teams in concluding buy side transactions for infrastructure (energy focus).
Qualifications:
- Masters in Business Administration Economics or Finance discipline
- Bachelors in Engineering Commerce or Economics
