Start: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Rate: 30 31 per hour
Working hours: Monday Friday 09:00am 17:00pm
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and motivated Band 7 Cath Lab Radiographer to join our dynamic clients team in Wigan. This role is crucial in providing exceptional care and imaging services to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. The successful candidate will work in a stateoftheart facility contributing to the delivery of highquality diagnostic and interventional radiography services.
What will your responsibilities be:
The Band 7 Cath Lab Radiographer will be responsible for performing a range of diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures within the catheterisation laboratory. This includes preparing and positioning patients operating imaging equipment and ensuring optimal image quality. The role involves close collaboration with cardiologists nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care. Maintaining accurate records adhering to safety protocols and participating in quality assurance activities are also key aspects of this position.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Degree in Radiography or equivalent
- HCPC registration
- Significant experience in cardiac catheterisation laboratory radiography
- Proficiency in operating advanced imaging equipment
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and protection
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to continuous professional development
