The Role
Our Technology team is growing! Were looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Front End Engineer to join our team.
In this role you will be responsible for designing developing and optimising the user interface of web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks. You will collaborate closely with design and backend teams to ensure seamless integration and create responsive highperformance web applications.
This role is ideal for an experienced frontend developer who can lead projects solve complex challenges and contribute to the overall user experience. Youll be expected to maintain high code quality standards mentor junior developers and stay uptodate with emerging trends in frontend development.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain responsive dynamic and engaging web interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React Angular or Vue.js.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into highquality scalable and efficient code.
Optimise web pages for performance ensuring fast load times smooth interactions and accessibility across all platforms.
Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure consistency and adherence to coding standards.
Implement automated tests (unit integration and endtoend) to ensure the reliability and stability of the frontend codebase.
About You:
Deep knowledge of JavaScript (ES6 and handson experience with modern frameworks/libraries such as Next.js React or Vue.js.
Proficiency in HTML5 CSS3 and responsive web design with experience in CSS preprocessors (Sass LESS) and CSSinJS solutions.
Experience with frontend testing frameworks like Jest Mocha or Cypress.
Expertise in optimising web performance including lazy loading bundling minification and responsive image handling.
Knowledge of CMS would be advantageous.
