What will you be doing
- Support of the project team and the project manager within a new development project
- Product costings
- Simultaneous Engineering with supplier and internal manufacturing
- Scheduling of tasks to meet milestones according to target baseline
- Coordination of tasks related to different departments within the company (Sales Purchasing Engineering Production Assembly Testing etc.
- Summarising and presenting information for key stakeholders (e.g. senior leadership)
- Preparing project Quality Gates
- Coordinating and planning workshops (e.g. innovation cost)
- Assist with logistics around supply of prototype parts
- Work on cost reduction tasks which improve the company profit margin on currently released products.
- Support rampup of new business.
- Assist in the development for PEP projects by working with other departments to achieve milestones through continuous support and simultaneous engineering
- Assist in achievement of target costs and requirements
- Drive cost reduction tasks to improve profitability of existing products.
- Drive customer projects to completion
Qualifications :
What are we looking for
- Degree in Engineering or similar discipline
- Proven project management experience
- Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills
- Work experience ideally within product development projects or other engineering projects
- Strong leadership skills
- Problem solving abilities
