Our public accounting client servicing midmarket businesses is seeking a junior staff accountant looking to develop their accounting career within a firm that values your growth.
This firm offers tailored solutions and personalized accounting services to clients in multiple industries. This is a dream job for Grad or CPA in progress with 16 years of experience who is looking for experience and growth within a dynamic and supportive team environment. No overtime and great environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Canadian Tax preparation
Bookkeeping services full cycle financial statements and noticetoreaders tax returns and more.
Work closely with senior accountants and partners on client files including crossborder and midmarket businesses.
Manage a diverse range of client engagements including compilation review and occasional audits.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting. Can be pursuing CPA Tax stream (not audit) or newly designated CPA.
12 years of related accounting or bookkeeping experience specifically within a firm.
Strong accounting system and technology skills. Must have exceptional Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) and proficiency in CaseWare or DT Max is an asset.
Strong attention to detail ability to handle multiple tasks and can work within tight deadlines.
You are professional and have excellent communication skills in English.
Interested in completing accounting for the most part with limited clientfacing interactions.

Notre client en comptabilit publique qui dessert des entreprises de taille moyenne recherche un comptable junior souhaitant dvelopper sa carrire comptable au sein dun cabinet qui valorise la croissance de ses employs.
Ce cabinet offre des solutions sur mesure et des services de comptabilit personnaliss des clients dans divers secteurs. Ce poste est un rve pour un nouveau diplm ou un CPA en progression avec 1 6 ans dexprience cherchant acqurir de lexprience et voluer au sein dune quipe dynamique et bienveillante.
Responsabilits principales :
Prparation des dclarations fiscales canadiennes
Services de comptabilit tats financiers avis aux lecteurs dclarations fiscales etc.
Travailler en troite collaboration avec les comptables seniors et les associs sur des dossiers clients y compris des entreprises transfrontalires et de taille moyenne.
Grer une large gamme de mandats clients y compris des compilations des rvisions et des audits occasionnels.
Qualifications :
Diplme de baccalaurat en comptabilit. Peut tre en cours de CPA volet fiscal (pas daudit) ou CPA rcemment dsign
1 2 ans dexprience en comptabilit ou tenue de livres spcifiquement en cabinet
Intress par un poste principalement ax sur la comptabilit avec peu dinteraction client
Solides comptences en systmes comptables et en technologie. Excellente matrise de Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) et connaissance de CaseWare ou DT Max est un atout.
Grande attention aux dtails capacit grer plusieurs tches la fois et respecter des dlais serrs.
Vous tes professionnel(le) et possdez dexcellentes comptences en communication en anglais.
