Job Description

Overview

Do you have a passion for combining expertise in strategic marketing and digital platforms and do you understand how both are critical to maintaining a corporate brand Then you might be a fit for Rain Birds Corporate Marketing Technologist role which will help drive the future of Rain Birds global brand through marketing automation data analytics and website management among other responsibilities.

The primary focus of Corporate Marketing Technologist is aligning companywide digital marketing efforts with Rain Birds brand identity in a way that positively influences Rain Birds overall goals. In this role you will implement web technologies that support user experience visual design and brand messaging. The role involves collaborating with marketing design and development teams to integrate branding elements such as logos colors and fonts into the user interface. You will also monitor site performance ensure mobile responsiveness and leverage analytics to improve engagement and brand awareness. Additionally the Corporate Web Technologist will oversee Rain Birds content management systems (CMS) integrate brandrelated multimedia and innovate with new web technologies to enhance the digital brand experience.

Responsibilities

  • Website strategy and planning:

Develop and lead a comprehensive website strategy aligned with company goals.

  • Design and development:

Collaborate with designers and developers to maintain website aesthetics functionality and responsive design across devices.

  • SEO optimization:

Implement best practices for search engine optimization to improve website visibility and organic traffic.

  • User experience (UX) improvement:

Analyze user behavior data to identify areas for improvement and enhance navigation and usability.

  • Performance monitoring:

Track website metrics like traffic conversion rates and engagement to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.

  • Technical maintenance:

Manage website hosting security updates and technical issues to ensure site uptime and stability.

  • Crossfunctional collaboration:

Work with SBU marketers and product managers IT and other teams to integrate website content with broader marketing campaigns and business initiatives.

  • Stay updated:

Keep abreast of emerging web technologies industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive online presence.

Qualifications

  • Technical knowledge:

Sufficient understanding of web development technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) content management systems (CMS) and web analytics platforms.

  • Digital marketing expertise:

Familiarity with SEO strategies paid advertising and social media integration.

  • Project management skills:

Ability to plan prioritize and execute website projects within deadlines and budgets.

  • Creative thinking:

Understanding of visual design principles and ability to contribute to website aesthetics.

  • Analytical skills:

Capability to interpret data and use insights to inform website improvements.

  • Communication skills:

Effective communication with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders to convey website needs and updates.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with content management systems
  • Familiarity with marketing technology best practices.
  • Passion and experience in marketing and technology ecommerce CRM SEO.
  • Ability to prioritize conflicting requests.
  • Proven Experience/Certifications/Skills such as the following:
    • Google Analytics
    • Google Data Studio
    • Google Ads
    • HTML/CSS/SQL/Java
  • Strong thinking/problemsolving skills which can be applied to business processes with a cando attitude.

Desired Qualifications

  • Masters degree in marketing computer science data analytics or related field.
  • An understanding of the irrigation markets products and practices (or close adjacency).
  • Ability to speak multiple languages.
