Job Description
Job Title: Software Engineer
Location: Carnival Infopark Kochi
Job Type: Fulltime
Experience Level: 4 Years
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and adaptable Software Engineer with a strong
emphasis on Java programming and a willingness to learn and work with various
technologies as required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of
experience in software development and should be comfortable handling diverse tech
stacks while being eager to upskill when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop maintain and optimize Javabased applications.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement software
solutions.
Troubleshoot debug and resolve issues in existing applications.
Work with databases APIs and cloud technologies as needed.
Research and integrate new technologies into existing projects when required.
Write clean maintainable and efficient code following best practices.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Ensure the security performance and scalability of applications.
Be adaptable and open to learning new programming languages and frameworks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
4 years of handson experience in Java development.
Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring Boot Hibernate etc.
Experience with frontend technologies like HTML CSS JavaScript
(Angular/React is a plus).
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs microservices and database management
(SQL & NoSQL).
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP is a plus.
Exposure to DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker
Kubernetes) is an advantage.
Ability to learn and work with different tech stacks as needed.
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other programming languages (Python JavaScript Go etc. is a
plus.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of software security best practices.
Prior experience in fullstack development is a bonus.
