We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Senior Vice President of Behavioral Health (SVPBH) to drive innovation service excellence and operational success across our behavioral health programs at our 41 Montbello location.

What Youd Be Doing

Reporting directly to the Chief Clinical/Chief Operations Officer (CCO/COO) the SVPBH will oversee the behavioral health service lines and ensure excellence in patient care program development and operational effectiveness.

Leadership & Program Oversight:

  • Lead and enhance behavioral health services including childrens services adult services crisis intervention and specialty programs.
  • Oversee strategic planning implementation and evaluation of behavioral health programs to align with Health Solutions mission and objectives.
  • Supervise Vice Presidents Directors and Program Supervisors and Leads within the behavioral health division.
  • Ensure evidencebased behavioral health practices are integrated into service delivery models.

Collaboration & Integration:

  • Partner with the VP of Medical Services to promote an integrated teambased approach to medical and behavioral healthcare.
  • Work closely with the executive team SVPs and VPs to align behavioral health services with the organizations strategic initiatives.
  • Foster strong relationships with local hospitals FQHCs PCHC and community partners to improve service coordination and access to care.

Quality Compliance & Performance Management:

  • Monitor program effectiveness analyze performance data and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal state and local laws and regulations governing behavioral health services.
  • Establish policies and procedures that enhance service delivery operational efficiency and patient outcomes.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Represent Health Solutions in professional and community settings advocating for behavioral health services and integrated care models.
  • Oversee fiscal management for behavioral health programs ensuring sustainable and costeffective service delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the CCO/COO.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Extensive knowledge of behavioral health care principles evidencebased clinical practices and healthcare operations.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex healthcare systems interpret data and implement effective solutions.
  • Deep understanding of state and federal regulations governing behavioral health services.
  • Exceptional communication relationshipbuilding and leadership skills.
  • Advanced computer literacy and a willingness to adapt to emerging technologies in healthcare.

Physical Demands

  • Light physical activity (exerting up to 20 lbs. occasionally 10 lbs. frequently or minimal amounts constantly).
  • Frequent walking standing and sitting required in a professional office environment.

Qualifications

What Were Looking ForThe MustHaves

  • Masters degree required.
  • Must hold a current Colorado license in clinical psychology social work nursing or a closely related healthcare field.
  • Minimum five 5 years of leadership experience overseeing behavioral health clinics and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Minimum three 3 years of senior management experience postformal education.
  • Strong background in strategic planning program development operations and collaboration with executive leadership.
  • Valid Colorado drivers license and reliable transportation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage integrated healthcare services including behavioral health and medical care coordination.

  • Doctorate (PhD PsyD DSW or related) preferred.
  • Spanish language skills
