Job Description
Are you an Electrical Engineer seeking a new challenge and an opportunity If so then EIS may have the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently seeking an entry level Electrical Engineer with 2 years of experience in Metairie La. Prior experience with Arc Flash and Electrical System software are a plus.

About the Position
- Assist in developing electrical power distribution protection and related control systems
- Preparation of deliverables and documents including calculations drawings and specifications
- Assist in preparation of design packages for the engineering procurement and construction
- Verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards/practices
- Working with other team members including clients and vendors
Required Skills/ Abilities
- Proficient in the use of Office 365 (Word Excel PowerPoint OneNote)
- Arc Flash and Electrical System software knowledge a plus
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S
Education and Experience
- 2 years of electrical engineering experience preferred
- PE in electrical engineering a plus
- Medium voltage engineering design experience a plus
- Experience with motors switchgear transformers MCC a plus
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
