Job Description

Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to perform professional nursing duties so as to advance the wellbeing health and safety of the student in your charge. This is a parttime position that requires performing nursing duties on a van for a morning and an afternoon run up to 4 hours a day. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Respond promptly to emergencies and administer first aid to studentTriages student with an injury illness or accident and provides appropriate interventions. Collaborates with school staff regarding safety plans for student with special needsProvides individual health instruction for students as needed. Reports to parents regarding individual student health issues in a timely manner. Performs other responsibilities as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services
