Job Description
As an Automotive Transmission Technician atMcCluskey Chevrolet in Cincinnati Ohio you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our customers vehicles. In this position you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing transmission and drivetrain issues conducting routine maintenance and inspections and providing exceptional customer service.
SINGING BONUS: $10000
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough diagnostic tests to identify transmission and drivetrain problems
- Perform repairs and rebuilds on manual and automatic transmissions
- Inspect and replace wornout or damaged parts
- Perform routine maintenance including fluid changes and filter replacements
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Keep accurate records of repairs parts used and labor time
- Communicate effectively with customers providing detailed explanations of repairs and recommendations
Requirements:
- Prior experience as an Automotive Transmission Technician
- Strong knowledge of transmission systems and components
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to interpret and understand technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality work
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record
- ASE Certification is preferred
