Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for the development implementation and administration of the Quality Management System (QMS) ensuring compliance with standards through document control audits corrective actions and risk assessments. Manage accreditation processes act as the SANAS representative conducting internal audits tracking KPIs and MIRs training staff liaising with external bodies and preparing regular reports. Collaborate with various departments to enhance QMS effectiveness ensures resources meet compliance requirements and supports strategic business initiatives while adhering to company policies health and safety and integrity standards.
Specific Responsibilities
- Developing Implementing and Administering the Quality Management Systems.
- Management of Document Control Management review Impartiality Internal audits Corrective and Preventative actions Customer complaints Risk assessment.
- Coordination of all accreditation audits.
- Management representative to SANAS.
- Conducting internal assessments at various stages of the process to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Reporting: Writing detailed reports documenting process issues and quality control findings.
- Training Staff: Training staff in quality management system.
- Tracking KPIs and MIRs
- Problem Solving: Identifying and eliminating processes that do not meet standards and determining the causes of quality issues.
- Maintain effective working relationships with key people within the Businesses by ensuring an appropriate level of interaction.
- Liaise with external bodies to ensure that SGS is properly represented in discussions linked to the QMS.
- At all times comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct and Impartiality Policy
- At all times adopt a safe behaviour by exercising due regard for health and safety to himself/herself colleagues and clients in line with the Companys policies and procedures
- Where applicable implement Integrity procedures make sure these procedures are effective and provide expected results (reporting)
- Conduct quality audits. Improve operational management systems processes and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of QMS.
- Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for improving processes.
- Perform quality controls and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure consistent highquality output.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve processes.
- Ensure resources have the required tools to execute tasks according the company Management System requirements and policies.
- Prepare monthly business commentary reports status reports of service delivery and .
- Implementation of and compliance with the SGS Management System requirements.
- Work closely with support and operational services (Technical Sales KAM BD HR Finance IT Procurement Operations).
- Attend management meetings.
- Training of resources where relevant.
- Identify opportunities that will support the businesss strategy and the active promotion of SGS services.
- Achieve set KPIs.
- Business travel.
- Client liaison.
Qualifications :
Education
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Tertiary qualification
- Quality Management training
- Completed a Lead Auditor course (IRCA or SAATCA registered)
Experience
- 3 yrs. experience in quality management (ISO 17021 and or 17065
- 3 yrs. experience in people management
- 3 yrs. experience in ISO quality systems management
- Experience in auditing ISO quality management systems
- Must have handson experience in the implementation of a QMS
- Experience in customer service and liaison
