ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a detailoriented Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations ensure compliance with tax regulations and support financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills experience with GAAP and IFRS and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage daytoday accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable general ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP and IFRS.
- Ensure timely tax filings (VAT corporate tax payroll taxes) and liaise with tax authorities.
- Support monthend and yearend closing processes including balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in budgeting forecasting and financial analysis.
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with internal controls and local regulations.
- Improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

This also means that you are effective at managing multiple tasks of varying complexities work well under pressure and are driven by continuous learning and growth. Specifically we are looking for someone with the following toolbox:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Greek tax laws and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
- ACCA CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
