Your mission
Pierre Fabre Laboratories are hiring a Data Governor/Steward to join the IT & Infrastructure team of the R&D Medical Care in Toulouse (Oncopole Langlade site).
Pierre Fabre is a leading pharmaceutical company dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of people around the world. Our BU Medical Care division is at the forefront of innovative research and development in the pharmaceutical industry. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Governor/Steward to join our R&D IT team on an external basis.
The Data Governor/Steward will establish and maintain data governance practices within the R&D department at Pierre Fabre Medical Care. This role ensures data quality integrity and accessibility supporting the companys datadriven strategy. Responsibilities include building the data governance council developing data dictionaries and thesaurus organizing data endtoend and training R&D staff on data governance principles. The role also involves managing data related to external collaborations and deals promoting data as a shared asset and ensuring adherence to FAIR principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Governance:
- Develop and lead the data governance council.
- Create and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
- Evaluate and implement tools needed to support data governance.
- Promote data as a shared asset.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and data privacy requirements.
- Lead change management initiatives to embed datadriven decisionmaking.
Data Stewardship:
- Create and maintain data dictionaries thesaurus and metadata repositories.
- Train and educate R&D staff on data governance principles.
- Facilitate data sharing and collaboration across functional areas.
- Manage data related to external collaborations and deals.
- Ensure adherence to FAIR principles (Findable Accessible Interoperable Reusable).
Collaboration and Training:
- Work with various teams to identify and create valuable data products.
- Support the integration of internal external and public data.
- Design and deliver training programs to improve data literacy.
This position is compatible with teleworking up to 2 days a week.

Orchestrer la consolidation et le partage des donnes de rfrence entre les mtiers afin de contribuer la gouvernance des donnes du Groupe
Scuriser la qualit des donnes sur le primtre confi afin dassurer leur mise disposition auprs des utilisateurs dans le respect des rgles et contraintes nonces par les Data Owners.
Assurer lexhaustivit la fiabilit et la cohrence des donnes et mtadonnes et en viter lobsolescence en mettant en uvre des processus systmatique de maitrise et de vrification des donnes et les rendre accessibles aux utilisateurs
Assurer une vigilance particulire sur les oprations critiques pour les donnes
les donnes selon leur niveau de sensibilit
Qualifier la donne en fournissant lutilisateur le plus dinformations possible sur chaque Dataset: nom dorigine taille dates de modification provenance niveau de confiance et statut de la donne
Identifier la donne maitre et les KPI associs
Organiser et piloter lamlioration continue de la qualit des donnes.
Who you are
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Data Science or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in data governance data management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Fluency in French and a minimum C1 level in English
