Job Description
Postdoctoral Associate Cell and Molecular Biology
Hinson Lab
Farmington CT
The Hinson lab at the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine and UConn Health utilizes pluripotent stem cell biology tissue engineering genome editing and multiomics assays to study mechanisms of inherited heart failure and other muscle disorders.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ph.D. in cell biology molecular biology biophysics biomedical engineering or related field of study.
- Prior research experience in at least two of the following areas: pluripotent stem cell biology and differentiation advanced microscopy genome editing and proteomics.
- Candidates should have a publication record in peerreviewed journals.
- Excellent writing and communication skills able to work independently and effectively with other members in a productive team across continents.
- Experience with R Python or similar statistical package is helpful as well as experience with proteomics data analyses and bioinformatics.
