NATURE OF WORK:
Performs specialized and professional hydraulic modeling work for the Public Works Department. An employee assigned to this classification is responsible for maintaining the computerized hydraulic mode and analyzing impacts of prospective updates to the sewer network data verification as well as other related duties. Work is performed under the direction and reviewed by the Engineering and Mapping Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering or a related field; two 2 years of experience in computer hydraulic modeling of utility networks civil engineering land development linear utility design municipal lift station design and utility construction experience; or an equivalent combination of education training and experience. Two 2 years of experience with hydraulic modeling software such as Info Sewer and Info SWMM is required. Hydraulic Model Training and Certification is required. Valid Florida Drivers License is required. Professional Engineer Desired.
This is a fulltime CONTRACT position with the same benefits as Regular fulltime. Most contracts are renewable for terms of one year.
