Job Description
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Diesel Technician to join our team at Payne Weslaco Ford. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining diesel vehicles in accordance with factory standards.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Diagnose and repair diesel vehicles including engine transmission electrical steering suspension braking and air conditioning systems.
2. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes tire rotations and filter replacements.
3. Conduct vehicle inspections and accurately document all work performed.
4. Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and make necessary repairs.
5. Collaborate with the service team to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
6. Keep abreast of industry trends and updates in diesel vehicle technology.
**Qualifications:**
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of a certified diesel technology program.
3. At least X years of experience as a Diesel Technician.
4. Strong understanding of diesel engine components and systems.
5. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
8. Valid drivers license and clean driving record for 3 consecutive years.
