This elaborate 220 Acre thoroughbred training facility is one of the Ocala areas most sought after training facilities. Featuring both a 1 mile dirt and 7/8mile turf track 450 stalls spread across 23 individual barns and 30 rental properties onsite this facility is home to some of the best in the industry! In addition the facility boasts numerous equine amenities including 3 conditioning ponds a stateoftheart aquatred 4 theraplate stalls 12 eurosizers and more for peak training capabilities. Job Description Now Offering a 10000 Referral Bonus for a Qualified and Hired Candidate
We are looking for an experienced and organized Thoroughbred Facility Manager and/or Track SuperIntendent to enter this organization as Assistant Facilities Manager & Track Superintendent. With their current manager phasing out after decades running this incredible operation we are looking for a promising and committed individual to fill some very big shoes. With an extensive compensation package incredible culture and employee retention this role has a HUGE draw to it. Additionally the ownership has multiple equine related business ventures in the surrounding area making them a long term stable entity in a everchanging Thoroughbred market.

Referral Bonus will be divided into quarterly $2500.00 payments encouraging referrals to a be a long term fit. Please email if you would like to refer someone! (They MUST mention your name PRIOR to being hired. The referee must be hired and start work prior to payout.


This person would be responsible for assisting in the property maintenance and management of eleven 20acre parcels 23 barns and 30 rental apartments/houses. Additionally you will have a bonus structure that will be based on percentage of filled/rented stalls and apartments so multiple connections is a key element to this role keeping those stalls and apartments filled can get you a bonus up to 20 of your salary! This person should be a strong leader capable of overseeing 35 person facility maintenance crews in a handson capacity. The second and arguably more important portion of the role is strong experience working and managing the footing and track surfaces. Horse performance and safety are a top priority here with many million dollar training twoyearolds and trainers subletting at this farm so truly prioritizing the track superintendent side is imperative. Overall this individual will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional experience and facility presentation at all times for the tenants and their horses.



1. Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance of all properties including barns apartments and training equipment. Manage two separate maintenance facilities on the east and west sides of the track.
2. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain all equipment including tractors zero turn mowers RTVs whackers and specialized training amenities.
3. Inventory and Organization: Ensure facilities are properly stocked well organized and clean.
4. Racetrack Operations Management: Manage and Maintain dirt and turf tracks. This includes keeping a finger on the pulse of latest trends and technology for optimal care standards. There are currently individuals in place to handle the majority of the daily maintenance so this is primarily a supervisory and quality position although you will need to be comfortable grating and harrowing.
5. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with trainers tenants and staff to ensure a positive experience for all.
6. Safety and Compliance: Uphold safety standards ensuring compliance with training protocols and property rules and regulations.
7. Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement response plans for emergencies for all parts of the facilities. This includes scenarios like power loss wind damage and fire prevention.
8.Financial Oversight: Assist in budget management for overall facility and track operations exploring cost saving measures with the leadership team when appropriate.
9. Team Leadership: Lead and develop teams with a handson approach fostering a collaborative and growthoriented environment.


Job Requirements

Facility Management:
* Extensive experience in large facility management required thoroughbred racing/training facilities specifically.
* Demonstrated experience in effective team leadership required 35 employees under this role.
* Strong knowledge of safety protocols and facilities management practices.
* Proven skills operating and maintaining heavy equipment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.
* Financial management experience and technological proficiency.
* Must be able to Provide or create a working resume and provide three professional references to career on facilities management.

Track SuperIntendent:
* Extensive experience managing and maintaining racing and/or training surfaces.
* Ability to obtain and discuss track moisture readings.
* Ability to create and manage a track maintenance plan which includes watering grading sealing harrowing planting and mowing.
* Proven skills operating and maintaining heavy equipment dirt track and turf track footing and surfaces
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.
* Financial management experience and technological proficiency.
* Must be able to Provide or create a working resume and provide three professional references to career on track and surface management.
