At Lifescale Analytics we help achieve data driven decisions by leveraging strategic technologies to create innovative solutions that ultimately help our clients to navigate their everchanging data landscape.We have an opportunity for a Microsoft System Analyst. This role will be an Onsite Role candidates will be required to be onsite in Tallahassee FL. Telecommuting is currently NOT an option for this position candidates are required to be in the office Monday Friday. Travel and relocation expenses will not be covered by the client or employer.

Applicants responding to this position must be a US Citizen and will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information. Must have lived in the US for the past 5 years.

The Employer will not sponsor applicants for any employment visas at hiring or in the future including but not limited to H1B EAD or OPT visas. CorptoCorp or subcontract personnel will not be considered for this position.

Scope of Services

  • The primary function of this position is to provide technical expertise and systems analysis to the Enterprise Systems team in their work to manage and support the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • The candidate must have a working knowledge of configuring services supporting monitoring and maintaining an enterprise Microsoft 365 environment.

Primary Job Duties/Tasks:

The activities the candidate will be tasked with include but are not limited to the following:

  • Works on multiple products activities and projects as a project team member occasionally as a project leader.
  • Works on moderately complex tasks projects activities or support issues that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and has expertise in one product/system.
  • May coach more junior technical staff.


Requirements

Experience & Job Specific Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

  • 2 to 4 years of IT work experience in programming and systems analysis. Experience with groupware/messaging technologies tools and relevant platforms.
  • Defining the business requirements for the organizations next generation of collaborative work tools which involves working with endusers to develop specifications for the development and implementation of groupware applications (e.g. Microsoft Exchange).
  • Based on the business requirements responsible for the implementation maintenance and support of groupware systems.
  • Evaluates and recommends associated hardware/software solutions based on business requirements and user needs.
  • Responsibilities include providing technical leadership in the design development and promotion of selected groupware strategies.
  • Actively involved in engineering and deploying various groupware applications such as team collaborative computing Internet and wireless access document sharing and next generation messaging clients.
  • Flexibility to work hours between 7:00 AM & 7:00 PM and/or Saturdays either on a rotation or as part of a regular and on call work schedule.

  8. Problem Solving: Able to identify evaluate and use sound judgement to generate and evaluate alternative actions and make recommendations as accordingly.
  9. Team Building: Encourages inspires and guides others toward accomplishing the common goal as an equal member of the team.
  10. Quality Assurance: Knowledge of ideologies techniques and tools for quality assurance and control. The ability to put ideologies techniques and tools into practice.

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
