Nurse Position Overview
The role of a Nurse involves providing immediate and highquality care to critically ill or injured patients upon their arrival at the hospital. They are primarily stationed in emergency departments (EDs) intensive care units (ICUs) and surgical wards ensuring that patients are stabilized and receive appropriate medical intervention.
Primary Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Triage: Rapid assessment of patients based on the severity of their condition.
- Emergency Medical Care: Administering initial treatments medications IV fluids oxygen therapy and wound care.
- Critical Care & Intensive Care Support: Assisting in lifesaving procedures such as resuscitation airway management and cardiac monitoring.
- Surgical Preparation & Assistance: Preparing patients for emergency surgeries collaborating with surgical teams and providing postoperative monitoring.
- Coordination & Communication: Collaborating closely with physicians surgeons anesthetists and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care.
- Patient & Family Support: Offering emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintaining accurate records following hospital protocols and adhering to patient safety regulations.
Requirements
Requirements:
- More than 2 years of experience in intensive care surgical experience and emergency admission departments.
- Professional certificate (Bachelor/Master degree) in Pediatric.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Willingness to learn the German language.
