TITLE: Custodian I Elementary Middle and High School CustodianDistrict Office Custodian
TIME: 5:00am 1:30pm
REPORTS TO: Building Administrator and Interim Facilities Supervisor
PURPOSE
Perform a variety of tasks involving general care of buildings and grounds. Work involves the cleaning repairing and maintenance of school buildings and grounds. Primary responsibility is to provide students and staff with a safe attractive comfortable clean and efficient place in which to work learn play and develop. Maintain the school building in a condition of operating excellence so that full educational use of it may be made at all times.
This is the entry level class within the Custodian series. Positions at this level typically perform similar duties as the Head Custodian but are not expected to perform with the same independence judgment problemsolving and decisionmaking on matters relating to established procedures and methods and are also distinguished by the performance of the more routine tasks and duties assigned to positions within the series.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED
Receive supervision from Administrator and may receive guidance and direction from the Director of Facilities and Operations or Head Custodian or Lead Custodian. Exercises no supervision.
