JOB TITLE #2350: Nurse Practitioner / Urgent Care Bronx NY
Minimum of 6 months experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to fill an opening with an urgent care facility located in Bronx New York.
Requirements of Nurse Practitioner:
- Must have an active NY State License
- Must be Board Certified
- Must have at least 6 months of experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine

Responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner:
- Develop and implement treatment plans that are appropriate for each patients condition or illness
- Conduct physical examinations and tests to diagnose conditions infections disease processes etc.
- Provide advice to patients about health maintenance hygiene practices diet modification medication use etc.
- Perform diagnostic tests such as wound culture urinalysis and blood tests
- Treat minor wounds cuts and other injuries using sterile techniques to prevent infection
- Provide educational services to patients regarding their illness or injury
- Order diagnostic tests such as Xrays or laboratory tests to help determine the cause of an injury or illness
- Communicate with other healthcare team members to discuss patient care plans
- Provide counseling services to patients with behavioral health problems
