Job Description
TITLE: TeacherWorkBased Learning
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 Month
REPORTS TO: Career & Tech Building Principal
TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES: Provide juniors and seniors with classroom instruction projectbased learning and handson skills to prepare students for college and career readiness.
- Experience working with business partners securing student placement followup supervision and supporting student learning and data collection
- Preparing students for work interviews evaluations and necessary professional skills
- Strong organizational and computer skills Excel preferred
- Coordinate employer events internship placements and paperwork; must be available for parttime summer work (additional assignment)
- Assist in the management of the Advisory Committee and WorkBased Learning Partners
- Ability to prepare and present to a wide variety of audiences
- Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment
- Implement 504 plans and IEPs for students with diverse learning needs
- Keep current with changes and developments in various industries represented by Sullivan BOCES CTE
- Other responsibilities as determined by the CTE Principal
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 35 years CTE teaching experience
Excellent interpersonal skills and work ethic.
