This position performs the following daily support activities for the Lending and Product Administration department: processes secured credit and cash management transactions; provides a high level of professional and friendly customer service to members; manages FHLBanks membership application function; manages processes involving member mergers acquisitions home office relocations name and charter changes and liquidations or receiverships; maintains current and accurate member Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings; conducts timely processing of department related activities that impact membership information and proper access to products e.g. agreements data availability (to internal and external customers) and accuracy provides reports for decision making and maintain accounts; and provides support in evaluating member creditworthiness and making decisions related to credit and collateral actions that help manage the Banks overall credit risk associated with credit obligations and MPF.
Bachelors degree required preferably in business marketing or finance.
Three to five years of similar or related experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
Familiarity with the financial analysis of commercial banks thrifts credit unions and insurance companies preferred.
Knowledge and proficient use of MS Office applications including Word Access and Excel.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
Must be able to work and travel independently and use all types of general office equipment.
