Job Description
Now Hiring: Extrusion Machine Operator
Join our team as an extrusion machine operator and contribute to creating highquality products by controlling and maintaining extrusion machinery. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with 12hour swing shifts. We provide training to operate an extrusion machine and we need dedicated workers to perform several critical tasks.
Shifts:
- 12hour swing shifts
- 3 or 4 days a week
- Switching between 7:00 AM to 7:15 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:15 AM each week
Responsibilities:
- Mix thermoplastic materials with colored dyes and feed them into the extrusion machine.
- Set the dials and controls on the machine for the right size shape and thickness.
- Measure and test the product to confirm it meets specifications.
- Keep the hopper full of compound.
- Package the product according to work instructions.
- Complete quality checks as required by inspection sheets.
- Grind s material and prepare packaging.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and healthful workplace by keeping the work area clean and orderly.
- Comply with all quality system procedures and work instructions.
Requirements:
- Experience as a machine operator is preferred but not required.
- Detailoriented and responsible.
- Ability to work swing shifts and adapt to a fastpaced environment.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations.
Compensation:
- Paid weekly.
