We are seeking a Financial Analyst specializing in IT financial management to join our Global Engineering (GE) Business Office in Newark NJ NYC or Edgewood NY. The ideal candidate is businessminded financially literate analytical proactive intellectually curious and technically savvy with expertise in financial reporting and processes. You will collaborate with the GE Chief of Staff the GE Business Office the GE CTO and global teams across IT HR Finance Legal and other business units. Your primary responsibilities will include financial modeling and analysis for the GE organization assessing internal financial information and creating forecasts for future financial goals. You will also evaluate potential investment opportunities analyze the impact of financial transactions and develop models for budgets business cases and financial improvements.

In this role you will play a crucial part in streamlining financial processes for vendor management creating purchase orders processing invoices and gathering data to support financial models. These models will inform datadriven business and technology decisions by the GE Technology leadership. Under the strategic guidance of the GE CTO who is responsible for delivering an effective technical strategy to meet business outcomes you will help design and implement global processes metrics and governance oversight. Your insights will ensure adherence to processes and budgets while supporting optimal human capital technology and financial decisions to exceed client expectations and achieve organizational goals.

We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid which means youll be assigned to a Broadridge officeandgiven the flexibility to work remote.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Translate Data into Action: Use your theoretical knowledge to achieve goals and transform financial results into compelling narratives for senior leadership. Actionoriented with a get things done mentality.
  • Analytical Problem Solver: Employ your judgment to navigate straightforward problems and explore innovative solutions using technical experience and precedents. Tenacious and resilient when faced with challenges.
  • Collaborative Budgeting: Partner with Development Infrastructure Product Business and Finance teams to craft annual budgets. Track financial performance provide forecasts and uncover opportunities for investment optimization. Collaborative spirit with the ability to function across organizational levels.
  • Automate and Innovate: Develop automated reporting systems by extracting data across platforms like Microsoft Project Replicon and Oracle/Zycus Financials.
  • Vendor Management Excellence: Build vendor scorecards to assess spending performance and costeffectiveness. Seek opportunities to consolidate products and secure price advantages with Procurement/Accounting teams.
  • Seamless Vendor Onboarding: Work with Development Legal Risk and Procurement teams to onboard new vendors efficiently manage purchase orders approve invoices and maintain budget tracking.
  • Strategic Business Partner: Collaborate with business development and infrastructure teams to build business cases for IT investments ensuring cost efficiency and interoperability. Capable of driving transformational change and adapting to ambiguity.
  • Template and Model Creation: Design templates for business cases budgeting financial reporting and cost savings logs and offer expertise in Excel and BI tools to elevate financial modeling.
  • Evaluate and Advise: Lead reviews of financials resource utilization and technology capacity with IT Leads identifying savings and improvement opportunities and addressing budget discrepancies. Committed to continuous improvement and adept at learning.

Qualifications:

  • 23 years of experience in financial analysis or business management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with financial planning tools like TM1 Anaplan and Hyperion is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills for articulating complex issues clearly.
  • Proven ability to build trust and work with crossfunctional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities driven by results.

Salary range $110000.00 $120000.00 Bonus Eligible.
