Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technical Illustrator to join our team at Smart Enovations based in Bangalore. This fulltime position involves creating precise technical illustrations to support our product design and development projects. The ideal candidate should have a blend of artistic skill and technical understanding to effectively communicate design concepts in the automotive domain.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in IsoDraw a mandatory skill is crucial for generating detailed and accurate technical illustrations.
- Experience as a technical illustrator is necessary to create visually engaging and technically precise illustrations. (Mandatory skill)
- Proficiency in Creo is required focusing on integrating illustrations with 3D models. (Mandatory skill)
- Solid understanding of heavy engineering concepts to translate complex ideas into understandable drawings.
- Skills in using Adobe Illustrator for vectorbased graphic creation enhance document quality and clarity.
- Experience in document creation to compile and present technical illustrations effectively.
- Strong drawing skills to ensure precise and visually appealing technical visuals.
- Detailoriented approach and innovative thinking to create designs that meet customer requirements efficiently.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create highquality technical illustrations for product designs ensuring clarity and precision in each drawing.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to understand project requirements and translate them into visual guides.
- Utilize IsoDraw and related software to produce and edit detailed illustrations that meet industry standards.
- Integrate illustrations with 3D models using Creo to provide a comprehensive visual understanding.
- Maintain uptodate and organized documentation of all illustrations for easy access and reference.
- Engage in creative brainstorming sessions to develop innovative design solutions.
- Adapt designs based on feedback from crossfunctional teams demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness.
- Participate in meetings to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables contributing to effective communication within the team.
