Job Description
We are currently seeking a Diesel Technician to join our growing team!We are looking for someone with a strong background in diesel truck repair and a great work ethic. This individual will be responsible for servicing and repairing heavy duty and medium duty trucks within our stateofthe art dealership facility!Experience greater job satisfaction today at General Truck Sales!
Essential Duties:
- Perform work as listed on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
- Diagnose cause of malfunctions and perform repair.
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
- Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
- Note additional repair work needed.
- Participate in necessary manufacturer or dealership training courses.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Tech School preferred.
- 1 years working as a service technician
- Ability to perform diagnoses and repairs of most vehicle components
- Work well with others
- Related experiences might include Fleet Mechanic Automotive Mechanic Trailer Chassis Mechanic Heavy Equipment Mechanic Master Mechanic Medium Duty Mechanic
- Valid drivers license required
- Ability to pass background check MVR & drug screen required
