Job Description
Xavier Universitys Office of Residence Life seeks to fill multiple Hall Director positions within the Office of Residence Life. The Hall Director is a key position in carrying out the mission of the department and plays a significant role in the quality of life experienced by all members of the residence hall community.
The Hall Director is a fulltime livein 12month professional staff member and is responsible for developing and administering a comprehensive residence life program in their hall housing for 200550 students. This position reports to the Associate Director Residence Life or the Assistant Director Residence Life.
Job Responsibilities includes but not limited to:
- Developmentally supervise a Resident Assistant (RA) staff of 715 members including creating a unified team by providing individual supervision and feedback training and development.
- Obtain a high level of student contact visibility and availability through consistent presence in residential community.
- Coordinate the administrative building operations management and personnel functions of a residence hall/apartment complex of 207535 residential students.
- Provide leadership and/or assistance to systemwide projects for the Office of Residence Life divisional and University committees.
- Rotate oncall duty nights and weekends with other professional staff members to serve as a point of contact for residential crisis response.
Start date: July 1st
Annual Salary: $43888

Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required
- Masters degree preferred in College Student Personnel Higher Education Administration or related field
- 13 years of relevant experience
- Advanced analytical skills
