The goal of the English Department is to develop a students capacity to reason and use language to communicate effectively while developing an appreciation of rhetoric. The curriculum presents a multidimensional core discipline which includes the study of language literature and writing. You must challenge each student to develop their analytical skills to become critical thinkers who can express themselves coherently through both speech and written word.
