The Yale Child Study Centers Pediatric Psychology Program in collaboration with the Section of Pediatric Neurology has an opening for a fulltime ambulatory pediatric psychologist to join our Pediatric Psychology Service in Yale New Haven Childrens Hospital.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborating with the Pediatric Neurology team to build and/or expand interdisciplinary clinics
Consultation psychosocial assessments and evidencebased treatments offered to neurology patients including those with: Epilepsy Neurodevelopmental and other neurological conditions pending applicant interest and specialization
Program development activities within Pediatric Neurology
Inpatient consultation services as requested by pediatric neurology team and applicant interest
Participation in the psychology training faculty including training and supervision of practicum students psychology interns through the Yale Child Study Centers APAaccredited internship and postdoctoral fellows on the pediatric psychology track
Partnership and mentorship with growing Pediatric Psychology Program
Training Pediatric Neurology residents and fellows in topics related to Pediatric Psychology
Opportunity to facilitate the Comfort Ability Program for pediatric pain management and supervising program trainees
Successful candidates will be appointed as Assistant Professor of Child Psychology (Pediatric Psychology Program) on the Academic Clinician track. Opportunities for cultivation of specialized interests are available and welcomed. Clinical care will involve a combination of in person visits and telehealth options to reach families across the state of Connecticut.

Successful candidates must possess an APA accredited doctoral degree in psychology postdoctoral experience in pediatric psychology and be licensed or licenseeligible in Connecticut. Training and experience in collaborative integrated behavioral health models of service delivery in specialty medical clinics are highly preferred.
