Job Description

Job title: HNW Trading Underwriter

Salary: 55000

Location: Hybrid 23 days per week with the remaining days being remote.

PURPOSE OF ROLE

A big name in the HNW/PC space is seeking a Trading Underwriter to join their wellestablished specialist underwriting team. This role offers development opportunities and exposure to specialist products across the HNW space.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Underwriting Art and Private Client products
  • Working towards set targets including profitability GWP conversion productivity referral rate reduction and turnaround times
  • Developing sales skills and appreciation of sales and underwriting strategy
  • Negotiating with internal and external parties including key broker partners
  • Challenging nonstandard underwriting decisions and identifying process improvements

EXPERIENCE

  • Logical and analytical thinker
  • Underwriting experience within HNW/Private Clients
  • Natural flair for building relationships with brokers
  • Collaborative team player
  • Ambitious and driven
