Job title: HNW Trading Underwriter
Salary: 55000
Location: Hybrid 23 days per week with the remaining days being remote.
PURPOSE OF ROLE
A big name in the HNW/PC space is seeking a Trading Underwriter to join their wellestablished specialist underwriting team. This role offers development opportunities and exposure to specialist products across the HNW space.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Underwriting Art and Private Client products
- Working towards set targets including profitability GWP conversion productivity referral rate reduction and turnaround times
- Developing sales skills and appreciation of sales and underwriting strategy
- Negotiating with internal and external parties including key broker partners
- Challenging nonstandard underwriting decisions and identifying process improvements
EXPERIENCE
- Logical and analytical thinker
- Underwriting experience within HNW/Private Clients
- Natural flair for building relationships with brokers
- Collaborative team player
- Ambitious and driven
