Position Overview:
We are looking for a responsible and compassionate Van Driver to safely transport youth to and from various programming locations in the Lake Country area. The Van Driver will be responsible for operating a 12passenger van ensuring a safe and comfortable ride for youth aged 817. This role requires a traumainformed approach and you will play a key role in supporting the mental health and recovery services of the organization.
Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM 9:00 AM & 2:00 PM 4:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM 10:00 AM & 12:30 PM 2:30 PM
May require maskwearing
Responsibilities:
Direct Client Care 45: Transport youth to and from programming. Assist with loading/unloading when necessary. Support client behavior plans and provide positive results through effective interaction.
Safety 45: Adhere to traffic laws inspect the van for safety before and after each trip maintain a clean and safe environment inside the van and report any issues to a supervisor.
Documentation 5: Provide accurate documentation according to program procedures including reporting any accidents or unusual circumstances.
Miscellaneous Duties 5: Support organizational needs across programs provide crisis intervention as needed and assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Valid Drivers License
Proof of Insurance
Less than 4 points on driving record
No felony convictions or background issues
Must be comfortable with transporting youth
Compassionate responsible and proactive attitude
