Job Description
Are you an experienced Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration Technician looking for a company that values your expertise and provides opportunities for career growth Kalos Services is hiring a Level 3 Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional capable of independently handling complex commercial HVAC and refrigeration service calls troubleshooting advanced system issues and mentoring junior technicians.
Schedule: MondayFriday 8 AM 5PM Need Flexibility for on call and finish expected. 4060 hrs./week
Compensation: $32.00 $38.00 hourly rate
Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Perform advanced diagnostics repairs and maintenance on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems including rack refrigeration chillers VRF/VRV systems and supermarket systems
- Mentor and train junior technicians to enhance team capability
- Execute preventative maintenance and system optimizations for efficiency and reliability
- Interpret blueprints schematics and technical documents to ensure proper installation and servicing
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication regarding repairs and recommendations
- The ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly with or without an accommodation
- Comfortable with climbing ladders and scaffolding
- 5 years of handson experience in HVAC and refrigeration service
- Advanced knowledge of commercial refrigeration supermarket systems and HVAC troubleshooting
- EPA 608 Universal Certification (required)
- Strong understanding of electrical controls and mechanical system diagnostics
- Ability to work independently and provide guidance to less experienced technicians
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
