Job Description

Since 2008 National Real Estate Insurance Group (NREIG) has been committed to providing specialized insurance solutions designed specifically for the real estate investment industry. Through our insurance Program we deliver superior client support and services client inventory control and efficient billing systems to residential real estate investors across the United States. With a focus on providing simplification to the property protection processes NREIG has grown to service individual investors conglomerates bulk REO holders wholesalers and lenders representing more than 140000 locations in all 50 states. The insurance Program our clients enjoy was built on easeofuse accommodating all occupancy phases of investment property (vacant rental or undergoing renovation).
Commercial Sales Advisor will provide worldclass client service by servicing new and existing accounts within the property commercial lines and to the insurance program through inbound sales.
Essential Functions
  • Develop and maintain effective business relationships with broker and underwriting partners.
  • Educate clients on the differences in insurance coverage and assist them in determining the best coverage for their business model.
  • Evaluate current insurance coverage develop and advise proposal options that protect the investor as it relates to their real estate business.
  • Communicate directly with clients through different communication channels e.g. phone email or inpersonal in a professional manner.
  • Use online resources when necessary to complete submission information such as HazardHub and Google Earth.
  • Assign locations to the appropriate Master Policy based on company guidelines.
  • Recognize the importance of affiliate and retail agentdriven opportunities and handle appropriately.
  • Promptly submit proposal requests to markets.
  • Educate clients on the differences in insurance coverage and assist them in determining the best coverage for their business model.
  • Prepare binding applications and documentation collect payment information for bind requests.
  • Quote online platforms as well as manual submissions with ACORDs supplemental applications acquiring loss runs.
  • Manage all renewals and analyze current/renewal terms for opportunity to provide a competitive quote.
  • Request policy endorsements as necessary.
  • Complete and prepare certificates of insurance proposals policy summaries invoices etc.
  • Check policy coverage and endorsements on all new business and renewals.
  • Thoroughly review the policy applications and submissions to underwriting and markets ensuring accurate information.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School diploma required; bachelors degree preferred.
  • Two to three years of experience in a Commercial Insurance role.
  • Property & Casualty License required.
  • Proficient working knowledge of insurance agency management system(s) preferred.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Excellent communication skills written oral including social networking.
  • Proficient in building positive relationships.
  • Solid selling and account management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • General knowledge Real Estate Investing/Transactions preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and attention to details in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong follow up skills.
  • Industry affiliations preferred.
