Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team at the Hillside Boutique Hotel in Castroville TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving profitability. This role requires strong leadership skills a passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily hotel operations ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance revenue and profitability.
Lead mentor and manage hotel staff fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Monitor and analyze financial performance preparing budgets and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as hotel policies and procedures.
Build and maintain relationships with guests addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote the hotel and attract new guests.
Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of hotel management software and financial reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of local attractions and the Castroville area is a plus.
