Geisinger Lewistown Hospital and Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital are seeking a Physician Hospitalist to join their growing teams. The position is going to be a split between the two locations and eligible for additional stipend on top of the base salary and other incentives.Geisinger Lewistown Hospital is a 123bed acute care community hospital serving the 80000 residents of Mifflin and Juniata counties.
Geisinger Jersey Shore is a designated Level IV trauma center. With 25 accredited beds the hospital also has a helipad for transport of critically injured patients requiring higherlevel medical care at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville or another hospital.
Shift and Schedule: Days 7am 7pm
Location: Split between Lewistown Hospital (Lewistown PA) and Jersey Shore Hospital (Jersey Shore PA).

Job Duties:
- Interviews patients to obtain information such as symptoms medical histories and family histories.Performsand/orinterpretsdiagnostic testsas needed.
- Diagnose and design a plan of treatment for injuries and/or illness.May prescribeor administermedications.Prepares maintains and reviews records that includepatientshistories examination findings treatment plans or outcomes.
