Job Description

Mechanical Assembler (Pneumatics)

As aMechanical Assembler (Pneumatics)you will be responsible for assembly of passenger rail vehicles and their components including pneumatic systems following detailed blueprints schematics and work instructions. You will ensure that all quality requirements and specifications are met in a timely manner.

Key Activities
  • Read interpret and follow basic blueprints diagrams engineering drawings specifications bills of materials and other written instructions or procedures
  • Perform inspections based on drawing specifications and assembly instruction to ensure the quality standards
  • Assembly of equipment and products according to engineering specifications
  • Maintain inventory of product in workstations while maintaining a clean and safe work area
  • Adhere to set deadlines

Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED and vocational training in related field
  • Minimum 2 years of mechanical and structural assembly experience required
  • Ability to work in a team and good communication skills
  • Knowledge of electrical pneumatic and hand tools
  • Quick comprehension with a high standard of quality and attention to detail
  • Goaloriented flexible resilient and responsible with a structured work ethic
