Position Overview:
JAVAD GNSS is seeking a Software Engineer to join our software design team in Fort Wright KY. In this role youll develop and maintain application software for field computers and embedded systems for GNSS products. Reporting to the VP of Product Development youll help keep our GUIs modern efficient and aligned with the latest software trends. This position requires a US citizen or permanent resident who is flexible detailoriented and collaborative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop crossplatform data collection software for Windows Android iOS and Linux OS.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineering teams to enhance software performance.
- Write proprietary drivers debug hardware issues and implement userfriendly application interfaces.
Qualifications:
- Education: BSc in Computer Science or Engineering (MSc a plus).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in C/C17 Java XML and experience with TCP/IP networking for clientserver applications.
- Experience: Embedded software engineering Shell and Python scripting and OS coding techniques.
- Preferred: Familiarity with GNSS technology IP protocols and hardware interfaces.
