DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role you will serve as the chief of the surface permitting section within the Southwest District Oil & Gas Operations office. Your responsibilities will include overseeing staff by effectively organizing prioritizing and delegating tasks to ensure their completion aligns with set priorities. Additionally you will evaluate the work conducted by your team to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures as well as the accurate interpretation of relevant laws rules and regulations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch.
- Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) parttime up to 3 days per week. In order to telework you must have a securely configured highspeed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Pittsburgh.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:- Two years as an Environmental Engineer or an Air Quality Engineer (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration);or
- Five years of professional engineering experience in environmental protection or in environmental project development design or construction.
Special Requirement:- This position requires possession of a valid Professional Engineer license issued by the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers Land Surveyors and Geologists or a valid Professional Engineer license issued by the applicable licensing body of another state.
Condition of Employment:
- This position requires possession of a valid PA noncommercial Class C drivers license or equivalent.
Post Employment Requirement:- Successful candidates with an out of state Professional Engineer license will be required to produce a valid Professional Engineer license issued by Pennsylvania within their initial six month probationary period.
Other Requirements:- PA residency requirementis currently waivedfor this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
