Job description:
On behalf of our client we are looking for a skilled Cloud Architect to optimize the delivery of business services at the enterprise level to realize the integrated business/technology strategy and ensure that individual business units are receiving the necessary support to perform their functions.
Job responsibilities:
Continuously research new cloud technology services and solutions that could drive business strategy enhance business capabilities create new business models and drive business innovation.
Working with program office administrators to develop solutions alongside the architect on the AWS platform.
Define describe and convey what Cloud computing is what the drivers and benefits are for the organization which risks exist and what impacts will be happening to the organization.
Develop an Enterprisewide unified strategy for transitioning Enterprise IT services to cloudhosted services
Partner with senior IT management to make the necessary changes for Cloud directives to realize their full potential for the entire organization
Oversee manage and administer Cloud computing initiatives
Work with the Enterprise Cloud Control Board to advise on develop and enforce processes and best practices for migrating deploying managing and operating in the Cloud
Develop cloud resource provisioning and management standards processes and procedures
Coordinate with the technical and security teams to develop and implement bestpractices for securely operating Enterprise IT resources in the cloud
Requirements
Job Requirements:
5 years of experience with public private and hybrid cloud services and the planning development migration and integration of applications and services from onpremises infrastructure to cloudbased PlatformasaService and Infrastructure as a Service services
1 years demonstrated experience on the AWS platform designing for highly available and resilient solutions
Understanding of ServiceOriented Architecture and the basics of IT budgeting
Experience with infrastructure operations and processes associated with IT service management
Familiarity with the processes that ensure the effective and efficient use of Cloud computing
Experience with software licensing agreements and extracting business requirements
Scripting experience (Batch WMI VBScript Powershell Azure CLI)
Experience with deployment automation and security configuration management
Windows Servers Windows Server 2008R22012R2 admin and Azure build outs
Bachelors Degree is preferred
Skills:
Demonstrated existing knowledge and experiences in leading a complex program
Strong problem solving and analytical abilities with critical thinking
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be organized and detailoriented
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional diplomatic and tactful manner
