Job Description
Pacific Academy is seeking an enthusiastic caring and competent individual to join our Before and After School Care (BASC) team. The BASC Worker will provide a safe engaging and supportive environment for students outside regular school hours. We are committed to developing a highquality program with a creative friendly team that works collaboratively to support our students. This position is open until filled.

Pacific Academy is a Pentecostal Christian school dedicated to providing a Christcentered education. We emphasize academic excellence character development and spiritualgrowth in a supportive community environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with students during before and after school care hours.
- Plan and implement ageappropriate activities.
- Lead and direct group activities using appropriate guiding and caring techniques for schoolaged children.
- Communicate effectively with parents staff and students to build positive relationships and ensure clear understanding.
- Ensure the safety wellbeing and appropriate behavior of all students in the program.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe space in accordance with school policies and health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Support a Pentecostal/Charismatic statement of faith and participate in a local church
- Responsible Adult certification 20 hours of courses related to childcare)
- Emergency First Aid CPR/AED Level C (Current certification required)
- Valid Criminal Record Check
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an asset
- Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting is preferred
Scheduled hours:
Candidates may choose to work during school days nonschool days or both with options for mornings afternoons or a combination of both.
NonSchool Days
- 6:45 AM 10:45 AM
- 7:30 AM 2:00 PM
- 10:45 AM 5:00 PM
- 2:00 PM 5:45 PM
School Days
- 6:45 AM 8:30 AM
- 7:30 AM 8:15 AM
- 2:30 PM 5:30 PM
- 2:45 PM 5:45 PM
