Job Description

Plant Engineer/Specialist Reliability

Location: Center North Dakota


Our client is seeking qualified candidates for a Plant Engineer Reliability or Plant Specialist Reliability at Center ND. The Station is a twounit coalfired power plant providing a stable energy source for our cooperative memberowners. The station is located 35 miles from Bismarck North Dakota a growing and progressive city with many recreational opportunities.

Typical job functions and expectations include but are not limited to the following:

Provide root cause analysis.

Oversee the change management program and initiatives.

Optimize work practices in areas of expertise.

Manage and reduce risks to the station.

Provide reliability analyses evaluations and recommendations particularly for projects.

Evaluate design alternatives.

Design and install new and replacement equipment.

Work with consultants and contractors to accomplish engineering objectives.

Troubleshoot systems with Operations and Maintenance to resolve problems.

Ensure safety of work practices.

Monitor and recommend new technology for improvements in efficiency reliability availability and longevity of the plant and its equipment.

Analyze plant data and provide recommendations.

Previous experience in an industrial setting with emphasis on reliability and rotating equipment is preferred but not necessary.
