We are looking for a Manager of Sales to join our worldclass sales organization to lead our growing Startups & Midmarket segment. You will be responsible for overseeing and motivating a team of Account Executives and you will be measured by your teams overall quota attainment and expansion into existing customer accounts. This is a team of motivated and coachable sellers so we are looking for someone who has a growth mindset and loves developing first time Account Executives into rising stars.

The impact you will have:.

  • Drive Revenue Success: Own and exceed your teams monthly quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Develop and Implement Strategic Plans: Develop and lead of strategic plans for teams development and revenue attainment.
  • Build TrustBased Relationships: develop long term employee customer partner and crossfunctional relationships.
  • Lead with Value: Enable your team to understand the commercial and business goals of your customer and how they relate to our value proposition.
  • Empower and Enable the FrontLine Voice of Databricks: Lead your team to effectively communicate the value proposition throughout the customer journey.

What we look for:

  • Experienced 3 years) highgrowth SaaS leader with experience leading an inside sales team to new heights
  • Experience translating a highly technical product to business value for the CSuite. Experience in big data selling against open source or freemium models is a plus.
  • Track record of success executing against personal and team goals while always striving to uplevel your and your teams skills
  • Proven leadership ability to influence develop and empower employees to achieve personal objectives with a team first mindset
  • Ability to coach and develop fundamentals in your Account Executives including and not limited to prospecting expansion operational rigor and personal development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as experience communicating with and presenting to the C Suite
  • Willing to travel as needed <25 and work on the deals as needed to hit the goals
  • Bachelors degree required ideally in Business Management. MBA or advanced degree is a plus but not required.
