You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Division of Surgical Oncology at the University of Rochester seeks a fulltime member to join the multidisciplinary breast surgery medical education and training program at the Instructor level in the subspeciality of breast oncology surgery for a one year term. The curriculum of this one year clinical fellowship provides educational and development resources for proficiency in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease including all adjuvant therapies and supportive care. The program will be based at the Comprehensive Breast Care at Pluta and Highland Hospital an affiliate of URMC.

The City of Rochester is a mecca for the arts: home to a philharmonic orchestra wonderful museums including the Strong National Museum of Play internationally recognized dance companies as well as The Eastman School of Music. The Rochester International Jazz Festival is one of the top 10 Jazz festivals in the nation. The region boasts access to great watersports both on Lake Ontario as well as the Finger Lakes. The Finger Lakes region is also home to many internationally known wineries. Rochester has a rich history and was the last step on the underground railroad and the place Frederick Douglas called home. It is also the location of the Susan B. Anthony House making Rochester the epicenter of the womans suffrage movement.
Candidates must have completed medical school receiving an MD or equivalent and completed a full surgical training residency program and have passed standardized proficiency testing. Must be eligible for a NYS medical license or NYS limited permit.
