The Research Scientist role will lead under the guidance and coaching of their manager the successful development and of new and innovative cheese and dairy products.
Ensure the constant improvement of quality (performance) of existing products production systems and raw materials.
Provide technical productprocess support to plant technologists.
Coordinate the definitions of formulations for new products.
Partner with cross functional partners (Marketing Sales Operations Supply Chain etc. to ensure an efficient and successful product initiation progression and .
Lead complex new product development and supports current product improvement.
Plan and monitor plant trials and trains others to conduct plant trials.
Source and maintain vendor relationships to secure the necessary ingredients that align with Company standards.
Successful commercialization of new products.
Coach and review work with lowerlevel professionals.
Problems faced are difficult and often complex.
Influence others regarding product development practices and procedures.
Ensure coordination and supervise the in the plant of new process technologies tests and new manufacturing capabilities potentially impacting the quality of products.
Collaborate with technical bodies in the design of new manufacturing equipment or modifications of existing ones.
You are best suited for the role if you have the following experience skills and qualifications
Bachelors degree in food science plus 6 years related experience or a Masters degree in Food Science.
Experience in R&D innovation product raw materials process or technology development roles.
Successful track record and proven experience in product/process development from plant trials to successful to market.
Result oriented with strong passion for creativity and innovation within a complex driven environment.
Dynamic flexible proactive approach and ability to work effectively in high pressure situations within strict deadlines.
Strives for high standards seeks innovative solutions drives continuous improvement of ingredients semifinished and finish products processes and demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence with integrity through persuasive communication to win support at senior levels within R&D and across various functional areas.
Strong people and project management skills to effectively and efficiently drive a complex program.
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint experience.
Familiarity with SAP Architecture is a plus.
Proficient in use of information. Microsoft Excel BI and advanced analytical tools such as PowerBI.
Ability to travel up to 50.

Salary Range: $85370$112050.
Salary offers vary commensurate with experience skills education and training
