Job Description
Job Summary:
Colonial Chevrolet of Acton is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive drivability / transmission Technician to join our team. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles performing preventative maintenance and ensuring highquality standards are maintained.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary of $40 to $50 per hour paid weekly. In addition our employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package which includes health dental and vision insurance 401(k) plan with company match paid time off and opportunities for advancement within the company.
$5000.00 sign on bonus
No Weekends
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair various types of vehicles including cars trucks and SUVs
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently
Use diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repairs needed and provide status updates
Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working in the shop
Stay uptodate with industry advancements and participate in ongoing training and development
Requirements:
Ability to diagnose and repair drivability issues as well transmission issues
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
ASE certification preferred
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Excellent communication and customer service skills
