Job Title: Transportation and Custodial Services Director
Start Date: July 2025
Reports to: Superintendent

Primary Purpose:

Responsible for directing and managing districts transportation operations and custodial services.

Qualifications:
Education/Certification:

High school diploma or GED
Clear and valid Texas commercial drivers license (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements or ability to obtain a CDL

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage budget personnel and employee work schedules
Ability to direct and manage operations of a fleet of vehicles
Willingness to drive a route if needed
Ability to complete required reports and TCEQ testing requirements
Knowledge of routine custodial practices
Ability to maintain supply lists and order supplies when needed
Knowledge of equipment chemicals and materials used in cleaning processes

Experience:

Experience in a publicschool setting preferred but not required
