Job Description
An international company with a facility in the Plymouth MI area is currently seeking experienced Manual Lathe Machinists with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities for candidates seeking a position with opportunities to grow and advance within the organization.
Manual Lathe Machinists will be working a fulltime with pay rates anticipated to be $20 27 per hour based on each candidates experience and education. All wellqualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. We offer excellent benefits including medical dental company paid life and disability insurance 401k and more.
Requirements of the position:
- 2 years of recent manual lathe experience is required
- Experience and ability to use precision measurement tools and gauges
- Experience in boring vertical and horizontal milling machines drill presses surface grinders Bridgeport dynamic balancers is highly preferred
- Experience in the tooling and measuring instruments required for this work is also essential.
- Complete set up and tool changes.
- Own or willing to purchase basic machinist tools.
- Must be able to work in the United States (no H1 sponsorship or student visas considered).
- Complete standard prehire checks including background drug screen references etc.
