About the District
Springfield Public Schools is located in Springfield Oregon in the heart of the Willamette Valley and serves 185 square miles of the city of Springfield and East/Central Lane County. We are directly to the East of Eugene where the University of Oregon is located. About the Position
Springfield Public Schools seeks outstanding candidates for the position ofHead Varsity Boys Basketball Coach atSpringfield HighSchool.To support this work successful candidates will possess the following characteristics that support our vision ofEvery Student Every Dayand share our values:

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- Previous High School basketball coaching experience;
- Effective communication skills;
- Work schedule that allows for flexibility with practice and game schedules;
- NFHS/OSAA certified and First Aid certified;
- Willingness to work within the school and athletic guidelines;
- Ability to organize a complete basketball program grades 912;
- Ability and commitment to practice cultural competency and demonstrate respect for diversity.
- Fundraising knowledge and/or capabilities;
- Ability to be District Van Certified;
- Understanding of OSAA rules and regulations;
- Ability to work with parents and booster clubs.
